This course is a 6-months clinical internship for Masters students in the Clinical Psychology Program. This rotation is located in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation of the Taipei Veteran's Hospital. The patient populations include mostly infant,toddlers,children and some adults,referred for psychologicsa assessment and cognitive rehabilitation planning. Experience in psychological treatment and intervention is also available. The PM&R department espouses an interdisciplinary approach to patient care. The intern doing this rotation will be expected to work closely with Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech Therapists,Social Work and Physiatrists. Current prerequisite courses for this rotation are Clinical Child Psychology and Child Assessment. Background in clinical neuropsychology will be advantageous.
